A bit of numerological salsa fun

Author: As some of you may know, my initial degree was in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. In high school, I was a bit of a math geek, and to this day, I still enjoy mathematical puzzles.
I was thinking about salsa a few years ago, wondering about what made it so different from other western styles of music. I believe, in great part, that comes from the syncopation of the underlying clave.

Need help naming my new family member
First of all, thank you all for your warm birthday wishes ! I am moved and humbled that so many people send me such warm wishes. Thank you.
My little gift to myself this year is to adopt a second cat from the SPCA !
But I am a little short on ideas on how to name him… And I would welcome your suggestions.
